About Sarah Barrable-Tishauer
Sarah, a Toronto resident, rejoins Degrassi: The Next Generation for a second season. Last year Sarah appeared in the Toronto production of The Lion King as Young Nala. Sarah recently made her television debut in the Gregory Hines feature The Red Sneakers. Sarah's other talents include piano, trombone and dance.

About Katie Lai
Thirteen-year old Katie Lai joins the second season of Degrassi: The Next Generation playing the role of Spinner's younger sister, Kendra. Having performed professionally for the past five years, Katie's television credits include recurring and leading roles on various popular series such as Super Rupert, Noddy and Friends, Skinnamarink TV and Hello Mrs. Cherrywinkle. Katie is also a voice-over specialist for commercials; she can also be heard on many radio dramas for CBC. Between professional engagements, Katie enjoys playing piano, violin and singing.


Mony Yassir
Munya "Mony" Yassir joins the cast of Degrassi as Nadia Jamir, her first acting role. While new to television, Mony is a familiar face to many. In 2000, she was elected as the year's Provincial Ambassador for the Easter Seal Society, Ontario. She represented 20,000 kids and youth with physical disabilities, travelling across the province educating the general public about kids and youth with physical disabilities. In October, 2002, Mony was presented with a Roger Abbott & Don Ferguson Award For Achievement In Performing Arts by the Easter Seal Society. In her free time Mony enjoys sketching, drawing, and listening to music.
