A little about me(shane) and my life, and what I'm into.

Punk, skater, boarder, the three best describing words for me, and in my opinion, the three best things for a teenager to be!

PUNK: Punk music is absolutely amazing, all the bands and the styles and piercings and tattoos.......what i'm all about. Blink, NFG, Starting Line, Good Charlotte, Yellowcard, No Use, Ataris, Finch......so many more-so little time. Anyway, punk girls are hot.

SKATER: What's better than riding a board home from school, grinding on rails, benches, curbs, and jumping down stairs and so on. Nothing. Plus, skater brands.....kick ass. Hurley, Volcom, Dickies, Independent Trucks, DC Shoes, Etnies, Osiris, Four Square, Circa, Emerica, Element. Special Blend. Sweeeeeet. Skater girls are also hot.

BOARDER: Again, what better way to make it through the winter. Terrain parks and regular runs too. Whistler, Blackcomb, Mt. St. Ann's.........can't wait. And, ofcourse, styles??? Ripzone, Forum, Burton, Firefly.....need i say more. Boarder girls are once again, hot.

PIERCINGS AND TATTOOS: A method of self-expression, a way to rebel, style.
I have gone through 11 piercings in my life, 7 of which i still wear, and two tattoos.

MY PIERCINGS AND TATTOOS

NORMAL PIERCINGS: two left lobes, one right lobe

UNUSUAL YET ODLY COOL PIERCINGS: left rook, right conch, nipple

Adamo has an extensive list of television and theatre credits, including a starring role on the popular YTV show Systems Crash and a recurring role on YTV's Don't Lick The Pig. On stage, Adamo has appeared in several Stage West Theatre productions, including Robin Hood, Clowns and Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer. An active participant in school and community theatre projects, he has stared in The Bath, Auntie Mame and Carnival at the Cawthra Park Theatre and Bye Bye Birdie at the Meadowvale Theatre. Recently, Adamo was awarded the Junior Drama Award from his peers at Cawthra Park Secondary in Mississauga.

INTERVIEW:

Adamo plays Marco on Degrassi, the dude who stormed on to the scene by winning the school breakdancing contest. Adamo hasn't mentioned whether or not he can actually breakdance, but from what he told some N users it's clear that he loves what he's doing as much as anyone you'll ever meet.

ladybug88: How old are you?

Adamo: I’m 16 years old.

Kittypaw: What are your hobbies?

Adamo: I like to go dancing and clubbing. I also watch a lot of movies and relax with friends. I also love going to theater performances with my mom. But when I’m not doing all that, I go rollerblading and biking, and I love talking on the phone and listening to oldies.

Kittypaw: What type of music do you like?

Adamo: I love pop and dance music. I listen to singers like Britney Spears, N*sync and Destiny’s Child. But I also love oldies. I spend a lot of time listening to artists like Billie Holiday, Peggy Lee, Aretha Franklin, Petula Clark, Judy Garland and many more.

Alvin: What sports do you play?

Adamo: I love playing tennis and soccer, but I enjoy rollerblading, biking and swimming the most.

Ashanti626: Do you have a girlfriend?

Adamo: Well, I am single right now. But I’m looking around for someone cool to spend my time with.

CountriQT: How do you feel about your character?

Adamo: My character is not this huge complicated guy, but he has his problems, just like every other teenager does. In that aspect, I feel my character is nothing far from real. Thus I feel I can relate to him a lot. I like the way my character acts because he is a sensitive type of guy that is not afraid to show feelings and emotion. And in my opinion, that is true strength.

CountriQT: Do you wish your character could be different and why?

Adamo: No, I wouldn’t change a thing about my character. What makes my character unique are his multiple attributes, good and bad. Plus, my character has cool style in clothing, and he is sensitive and caring… and isn’t that what ladies like in guys? LOL!

hypergurl7: Do you get along with everyone else in the cast?

Adamo: Of course I do. We all spend a lot of time together, so we are all really good friends. Everyone is respectful, kind and talented. So it’s like a big hang out every time we work!

kaceypaige: Do you get angry on a set when you’re acting and you make a mistake, or when someone else makes a mistake?

Adamo: Well, when one of us makes a mistake it’s like a blooper. We laugh about it and move on. But if there is high stress on set and a mistake is made, sometimes we can get a bit frustrated. But that’s very seldom. And even when that does occur, we just accept the mistake and move on.

lildevil08: What do you like most about being on the show?

Adamo: Well I can’t really choose one thing about the show that stands out as the best. Every aspect of working on Degrassi is a blessing from God and is an enjoyable experience.

sofia9922: Has your life changed by making series?

Adamo: Well, by doing this series and being in front of a camera, my love for this profession has grown even stronger. And now more than ever I know that acting is a field I want to spend the rest of my life in, because it is truly what makes me happy.

hypergurl7: How did you get into acting?

Adamo: In grade three my elementary school did a musical. I loved to sing and dance, so I auditioned and got one of the lead roles as a young kid. After doing the show and hearing the applause of the audience, I realized that I had a passion for theater, and I wanted to pursue it. And I did. I have been acting, singing and dancing since I was 7 or 8. I have traveled to many places in the United States and in Canada for multiple competitions. I now go to an arts high school which allows me to learn more about theater everyday, making every day of the week an enjoyable and exciting one. Because there is nothing I would rather spend my time doing than performing

On Degrassi, Aubrey plays Jimmy, the coolest guy in the school who dated the coolest girl and all has the coolest friends. So obviously there's one thing we all want to know about Aubrey: Can he really moonwalk? Well, he isn't saying, but he did tell some The-N.com users a bunch of other stuff about his real life.

ladybug88: How old are you?

Aubrey: I'm 16.

Kittypaw: What type of music do you like, and what are your hobbies?

Aubrey: I love music. I write music (songs), I listen to music, music is my life next to acting. I want to learn guitar from Jake Epstein (Craig on Degrassi). I listen to a lot of rap and R & B, but my true passion is the classics: Marvin Gaye, Al Green, Bootsy Collins, George Benson, and Frank Sinatra. I usually don’t tell people I’m a Sinatra fan, and if I do, they believe me.

Alvin: What sports do you play?

Aubrey: Basketball! I want to play Bow Wow one day.

Ashanti626: Do you have a girlfriend?

Aubrey: None. Im single at the moment, but Im always looking for that special girl.

CountriQT: Do you wish your character could be different?

Aubrey: The only thing I would change about Jimmy is that he should start dating Beyonce on the show. Other than that, hes cool with me.

kaceypaige: Do you get angry on set when you're acting and you make a mistake, or when someone else makes a mistake?

Aubrey: Everybody makes mistakes. You just have to be patient with yourself and others and focus on getting the scene done.

hypergurl7: Do you get along with everyone else in the cast?

Aubrey: Our cast is like a big family. We all get along really well, and I personally think thats the best part of being on the show.

lildevil08: What do you like most about being on the show?

Aubrey: The experiences Ive gained and the friends Ive made have changed my outlook on life. Being a part of something this big gives you something to live for.

What’s your current style of fashion?
“I’m wearing a lot of Lacoste for the summer and fall. I do most of my shopping at Jaydees Connections (1712 Eglington Ave.). They have Sean John, Iceberg, Parasuco; I even get some of my Degrassi wardrobe there. I’ll wear anything that’s comfortable and/or unique.”

Now for the acting questions, have you ever had a crush on anybody you’ve worked with or met?

“(Laughs) I’m not going to call out any names, but let’s just say there are a lot of beautiful girls in this industry.”

Which actor or actress would you want to work with the most?
“I’d have to say Denzel Washington because he’s an inspiration to anyone who knows what acting truly is. And my actress would be Vivica A. Fox because Two Can Play That Game is my movie and plus she still looks so good.”

Which young actor or actress would you want to work with the most?

“I want to do a movie with Aaron Meeks (Soul Food) because he gives off such a good vibe when you’re playing opposite him on set plus there would be a lot of jokes! My choice for young actress would be Shadia Simmons because she holds a lot of talent and I think we’d have good chemistry…on screen of course.”

Fun Stuff:
1st kiss:"it was scary cause it was with a girl who had more experience then me. I tried to play it off like i was the 'mack' but i guess it didn't work too well."

worst fashoin mistake: "on the first day in junior high i wore bright red overalls like batman from immature. then the next year i wore a baseball glove and goggles to the side of my head like Diddy... so i was kind of a- loser!"

favorite thing to do: "play basketball cause its really popular and i always made the teams so i just stayed with it n its fun"

most emmbarassing moment: "in junior high i was in the school play les mis... and we were doing it for the whole school and i played Marius so they gave these baggy english dress pants to wear. and when i came out on stage they kinda ripped and fell down in front of everyone... so that was pretty emmbarassing"
